Recently, Kia officially released the latest preview map with the previous code name of “CV”, and clearly pointed out that the new car was named “EV6”. The new car will be built on the e-gmp platform (like IONIQ 5), with crossover design. It is reported that the new car will be launched in the world at the end of March.
It can be seen from the notice figure that the overall design of Kia EV6 is very unique and avant-garde. The front face adopts a slender medium net with a swept back headlamp set, and there are matrix daytime driving lights around the headlamp, which has a very strong recognition. The two raised ribs on the hood are very eye-catching, which shows the design concept of the new car.
At the rear of the car body, the waist line of the car body and the roof are smoothly integrated on the fender, making the overall shape of the rear look powerful. The tail lamp part adopts a more bold design, extends the bar matrix tail lamp to the rear wheel arch position, and better outlines the tail shape of EV6. In addition to the partial presentation of the appearance, the interior design and other functional configuration have not been announced this time.
In terms of power, it is expected to provide single motor and dual motor versions, of which the maximum power of dual motor is 230kw. The new car will provide two battery capacities of 58kwh and 73kwh to choose from. The longest driving range under wltp condition is 550km. In addition, the car is also equipped with 800V high-voltage fast charging, which can charge up to 80% in 15 minutes. (text: Yayong, Pacific Auto Network)
