On the morning of April 16, the 2021 China charging pile Industry Development Conference of “piloting new infrastructure and innovating the future” was held in Changsha. The theme of this activity is “piloting new infrastructure and innovating the future together”. Experts and scholars from political circles, business circles, professional associations and other fields participated in the discussion, and carried out discussion and dialogue on “how the new energy automobile industry can help carbon peak and carbon neutral”.

Experts attending the meeting believe that the essence of carbon neutrality is green and low-carbon transformation, thus contributing to the transformation of development mode. How to help achieve carbon peak and carbon neutralization? New energy plays a very important role in it. For example, the development of new energy vehicles in recent years is conducive to improving the urban environment, reducing pollution and emissions.
In the past two years, the construction of charging piles has become an important part of “new infrastructure” and an important carrier to help achieve carbon peak and carbon neutralization.
How to jointly promote the sustainable and healthy development of new energy vehicles and charging pile industry? Long Yongtu believes that, first of all, it is necessary to embrace change and seize the major opportunity of the development of new energy charging pile industry; second, it is necessary to carry out technological innovation to meet the diversified charging needs of users; third, it is necessary to cooperate with industries to help achieve carbon peak and carbon neutral.
Ouyang Xiaofeng said that in February 2021, the provincial government issued the “Implementation Opinions on accelerating the construction of electric vehicle charging (swapping) infrastructure”, which made it clear that the proportion of public charging piles and electric vehicles in Changsha Zhuzhou Xiangtan metropolitan area reached the advanced level in China, and the service radius of public charging facilities in urban core area was less than 1 km; the service radius of public charging facilities in other urban core areas was less than 2 km By the end of 2025, there will be more than 400000 charging facilities in the whole province to ensure the overall goal of the province’s electric vehicle travel and transit electric vehicle charging demand, which will vigorously promote the high-quality development of related industries.
With the blessing of the policy, China’s new energy vehicles continue to accelerate development. Data show that by the end of 2020, the number of new energy vehicles has reached 5.537 million, a year-on-year increase of 10.9%.
Hunan charging facilities intelligent service management platform and “Xiaoxiang E-line” app launched
With the rapid growth of new energy vehicles, charging stations, charging piles and other supporting facilities are also on the fast track. By the end of 2020, a total of 64000 charging stations and 807000 public charging piles have been built nationwide, with a year-on-year growth of 56.4%. Among them, 28000 charging piles and 2361 charging stations were built in Hunan during the 13th Five Year Plan period.
While vigorously developing, the charging pile industry is also faced with problems such as low technical threshold, fierce competition, long investment return period and poor product compatibility. Zhu Shengkai said that at present, there are nearly 100 new energy vehicle enterprises in China, and the operators and vehicle enterprises are operating separately, which causes incompatibility problems.
In order to solve the problem of rare charging for car owners, Hunan charging facilities intelligent service management platform and “Xiaoxiang E-line” app was officially launched on the same day. Through the charging pile in Hunan Province of China Unicom, users can charge freely, so as to realize “one app goes through three Hunan and four rivers”.
